Wishaw man has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder two police officers. David Dowson is also charged with possessing an offensive weapon during the alleged incident which took place in Greenfield Drive on Sunday.
The 25-year-old faced an additional charge of resisting, obstructing or hindering a police officer when he appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
