A man has 'handed himself in' to police following the theft of three French bulldog puppies in Trafford last week. Greater Manchester Police said they are currently speaking to the man about the incident and enquiries are continuing.

In a tweet, GMP said: "In relation to a report of theft of three French bulldog puppies from an address in Timperley earlier this week. "A male adult has handed himself in and is currently being spoken to regarding the matter. "Enquires are continuing." The three puppies, who are seven weeks old, were taken overnight from their home on Sunday (March 1).
