He was treated by paramedics at the scene, but died later.An inquest has been opened into Mr Cordwell's death. A preliminary hearing at Rochdale Coroners' Court today (Tuesday) heard brief details of the case.Police coroners' officer Jane Scullion confirmed Mr Cordwell died at Fairfield General Hospital on October 28 last year.He was married to Sharon Cordwell, 50, a company director.
