Manchester City are still keen on signing Inter defender Milan Skriniar, according to reports. City have failed to live up to their own lofty expectations this season and will almost certainly lose their Premier League crown to Liverpool when the season is back underway.
Their defence has cost them with the failure to replace departed captain Vincent Kompany and injuries to Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi leading to an unstable foundation in the team.
It's of little surprise that City are now being linked with several quality centre-backs ahead of the summer transfer window, with Benfica's Ruben Dias, Caglar Soyuncu of Leicester City and Bayern Munich's David Alaba all touted.
