Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez proved himself as one of Pep Guardiola's most important players on Tuesday night as he scored twice to send the Citizens to the Champions League final.
However, it seems Guardiola has Scottish side St Mirren to thank for his success. Mahrez scored twice to dump Paris Saint-Germain out of the competition at the semi-final stage.The Algerian winger had scored the winner in Paris last week and got off to a quick start by drilling home from close range within the first ten minutes.He then finished the game off after the hour mark as he finished off a brilliant team move by tapping home from a Phil Foden cross.
