Manchester City have added a Belgian football clubs to their ranks as they continue to grow City Football Group. The Premier League champions confirmed Lommel SK has been acquired as part of the organisation on Monday.
Playing in the Belgian second division, the play at an 8,000-seater stadium with a wrong focus on youth development. A statement on CFG’s website reads: “The investment further grows CFG’s global presence and focus on developing clubs, academies and players. “As part of CFG’s network of clubs, Lommel will contribute to and benefit from the sharing of knowledge and experience across the Group.
