Man 'chops off both legs by lying under train' in bid to claim £2.4m insurance payout

has deliberately chopped off his own legs to claim a [£2.4 million] insurance payout, a court has determined.The defendant named only Sandor Cs., due to strict local privacy laws, lost both of his legs in the shocking incident back in 2014.

Both of his legs were amputated from the knee down and he has been using prosthetic limbs and remained wheelchair-bound ever since.The 54-year-old resident of the Hungarian village of Nyircsaszari allegedly climbed onto the tracks with the intention of having both of his legs run over so that he could make a large insurance claim, The Pest Central District Court ruled on November 9.Scrutiny against the defendant was sparked when the authorities were informed of the fact that the defendant had taken out.
