dailyrecord.co.ukA man has been charged over the death of a 48-year-old in Airdrie. Local sources told the Daily Record Peter Mcelroy died following a disturbance on High Street at around 4.40pm on Easter Sunday.
Emergency services raced to the street but sadly Peter was pronounced dead at the scene. A 38-year-old man was arrested over the incident and has now been charged.He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court tomorrow, Tuesday April 14.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can now confirm a 38-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 48-year-old man in Airdrie."Officers were called to the High Street in Airdrie around 4.40pm on Sunday, 12 April, 2020 following a disturbance."The 48-year-old
