Man charged after teenage boy was stabbed in Salford

Christopher Davies , 29, of Bartholomews Drive, Salford, has been charged with one count of: section 18 assault; possession of an offensive weapon in a public place; possession of a bladed article in a public place.He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today.In a statement Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called at around 11.55am on Wednesday 24th June to reports of a teenage boy being stabbed in the leg on Rudman Drive in Salford."The boy sustained a serious leg wound but has since been discharged from hospital.".
