A man has been charged after reports gunshots were heard at the funeral of a well-known Mancunian. Mohammed Haseeb Umar is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Monday (April 27) charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
The charge relates to an incident following the funeral of Clive Pinnock, dubbed 'Mr Ibiza', which took place at Gorton Cemetery on Thursday.
Mr Pinnock, 38, died after a collision between a green Kawasaki motorbike he was riding and a BMW on Hyde Road on Wednesday April 8.
Police were called to the cemetery at 7pm on Thursday (April 23) following reports that gunshots were heard following 'several gatherings'.
