A man has admitted to murdering his wife after her remains were found at a beauty spot. Thomas McCann, 49, faces a life sentence after pleading guilty to murdering Yvonne McCann, 46, after the mum and grandma was found dead at Reddish Vale Country Park, Stockport, in May last year.
McCann, bearded and wearing a black t-shirt, appeared during a brief hearing at Minshull Street Crown Court this afternoon via video link from prison.
He was remanded in custody, and will be sentenced at the end of the month, reports Manchester Evening News. No further details about the case were disclosed in court.
