in Salford remains closed this morning after a man was seriously injured in a rush-hour crash. It happened on Trafford Road near Salford Quays shortly after 9am this morning (Thursday).
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said two vehicles were involved in a collision at the junction with Phoebe Street in Ordsall.
Paramedics along with police attended and two men injured in the smash were taken to hospital.One of them has been seriously injured GMP said.Pictures from the scene show two badly damaged cars, one appearing to be a private hire taxi.Emergency services remain at the scene dealing with the aftermath and carrying out enquiries.The southbound side of the A5603 Trafford Road remains closed from Lowry and Media City turn off at Broadway,.
