The Italian Mafia is handing out food to poor residents amid the coronavirus outbreak, as citizens are strapped for cash and the economy suffers.
Authorities have warned as the Mafia attempts to grab a hold over locals, in a bid to "impose control over people's lives." The Guardian reports, over the last few weeks Mafia gangs have been delivering essentials to Italians during the coronavirus emergency.
