dailystar.co.ukMadeleine McCann has stepped up a gear as Portuguese authorities search further wells for clues.Cops and divers in the Algarve region examined three disused wells in Vila do Bispo for eight hours last Thursday.Now a source says police are exploring more in the region as detectives hone in the potential involvement of German Paedo suspect Christian Brueckner.A source told The Sun on Sunday night: “Those well searches are unlikely to be the last."They were the most obvious, close to Boca do Rio beach where Christian B stayed and next to the road."At least 20 more will need to be checked.”The area cops are scouring is around 10 miles from the Praia da Luz resort, where Madeleine disappeared on May 3, 2007.Last week it was widely reported.
