Love Island host Laura Whitmore promised the show will be "big" when it returns in 2021. ITV bosses have been forced to axe the summer series due to the coronavirus outbreak, meaning fans will have to wait until next year for their villa fix.

However, host Laura, who was drafted in when late star Caroline Flack stepped down, has insisted fans will be in for a treat in 2021.

She's explained they've had more applications than for any other series so producers will be able to make sure the line-up is better than ever.
