Love Island is coming back this summer after it was forced to cancel the 2020 summer series amid the coronavirus pandemic. And the ITV production team were busy back at work creating content, ahead of the show starting, in the unusual location of Barking in East London on Tuesday.
Love Island host Laura Whitmore - who recently welcomed a child with partner Iain Stirling - was seen by locals filming scenes that looked like they could be part of the advertising campaign for the 2021 instalment of the looking for love show.
The crew added a sprinkling of Love Island magic to the town centre space by driving a bright red Jeep car onto the pavement - which was decorated with flashing lights and a megaphone.
