LOVE Island has axed one of its most controversial twists this year - with the Casa Amor postcard getting returned to sender.
In previous years, a cheery-looking card detailing some of the most shocking moments from the other house would land on the doormat.
It proved controversial, though was popular with some viewers because of the drama it unleashed. Islanders were regularly left in tears because it revealed their partners had been unfaithful.
However, this year, TV bosses have decided not to do it, believing a postcard "wasn't the right move". A source close to Love Island explained: "Sometimes what you imagine is worse than what you could see on a postcard.
