The cancellation of Love Island 's summer series has reportedly left the contestants furious and ITV bosses scrambling to fill time the slot.

Telly chiefs announced yesterday that they are postponing the show until 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak. It's left a gaping hole in the ITV2 schedule this summer, and a report suggests the stars who were lined up to appear in the show have been bombarding producers with angry phonecalls.

A source told The Sun : "The decision to bin Love Island was made during crisis talks late on Friday and it’s become a huge headache for ITV...
