The daily numbers have dropped slightly from Friday, when Public Health confirmed 38 new deaths and over 1,630 new positive cases.Public Health has identified 239,756 total positive COVID-19 cases to date across Los Angeles County.
Los Angeles has a total of 5,759 deaths related to the virus.Saturday’s update comes a few days after Governor Gavin Newsom introduced new guidelines for reopening schools, day care centers and youth sports leagues.
