Lord Of The Rings star Lenny Henry has revealed the secrets behind his three stone loss. The 63-year-old showed off his dramatic weight loss at the National Television Awards earlier this week where he received the Special Recognition Award.
Lenny, who plays Sadoc in Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, first began to shed the pounds in 2014. The star revealed that he was a "little bit diabetic", so had to cut back on certain foods and alcohol.
He's gone on to shed three stone. Speaking exclusively to The Sun about how he keeps in shape, he said: "I try to work and go to the gym and eat healthy and do what everyone else does but when I’m working and writing I get so consumed by it so I do try." The 63-year-old founded the charity in 1985 with screenwriter Richard Curtis in response to a huge famine in Ethiopia, Africa.
