Looking back at Honor Blackman's best fashion moments, from Bond girl to British style icon

telegraph.co.uk07 Apr 2020 Honor Blackman, who died on Monday aged 94, was undoubtedly a Hollywood style icon, from her breakthrough role as Cathy Gale in The Avengers to playing the inimitable blonde bombshell, Pussy Galore in James Bond’s Goldfinger.
On and off screen, Blackman experimented with some of the biggest trends of the Sixties and Seventies, including co-ord velvet suits and polka dots.
And in her later years, her style remained elegant, ranging from glitzy eveningwear to pared-back biker jackets and blazers for day.
Playing Pussy Galore was Blackman's best-known fashion moment; here, in a publicity shot for Goldfinger ,she wears wearing a gold waistcoat and black trousers, a look which still looks au courant today.
