fashion initiative set up to support Bangladeshi factory workers during the covid pandemic has come under fire after customers who bought £35 clothing boxes claimed they did not receive what they were promised.Lost Stock, founded by the Edinburgh businessman behind shopping app Mallzee, was launched in May after lockdown restrictions forced fashion giants to cancel orders of garments in factories in Bangladesh.The concept allows customers to purchase a £35 mystery parcel of brand new clothing worth £70 RRP cancelled by fashion brands during the pandemic and heading for landfill, with a percentage of the cost going towards the families of workers left unemployed.To date the company claims to have sold more than 45,000 Lost Stock mystery.
