Loch Lomon d have been praised for their bravery as they come to terms with a tragic weekend on Scotland's waterways. There has been heartbreak across the country after six people, including four youngsters, lost their lives in horrific drowning accidents during the heatwave.
Loch Lomond saw four of the deaths, with 16-year-old Connor Markward from Glasgow drowning on Friday and Edina Olahova, 29, and her son Rana Haris Ali, 9, died alongside their friend Mohammad Asim Raza, 41, around 6.40pm on Saturday evening.
A seven-year-old boy remains in hospital after the tragedy.Dean Irvine, 11, also drowned in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire and police recovered the body of a 13-year-old in water at Lanark.The volunteer crew of the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat.
