Drake shuts down critics after he’s accused of taking 15-minute flight on private jet
Drake has been forced to defend himself after he received heavy criticism for a short flight on his private jet. The Gods Plan rapper is the proud owner of a Boeing 767-200 plane which he purchased in 2019 for a reported eye-watering $220million (£182m). He is then said to have casually splurged a cool $100m (£83m) on refurbishing the jet and transforming it into Air Drake, as it was previously used as a cargo plane for 23 years. Twitter account Celeb Jets has fallen under the spotlight recently thanks to it tracking the flight patterns of private planes owned or rented by the rich and famous, such as Kylie Jenner, Floyd Mayweather, Mark Wahlberg and Steve Spielberg. The account informs its followers of when a jet has taken off carrying a celebrity, their destination and the time it spent getting from one location to the next. Earlier this month, the social media page tracked Air Drake landing in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada following an approximate flight time of 14 minutes. Another flight lasting just 18 minutes between Hamilton and Toronto on July 12 has also been attributed to Drake’s plane. Drake’s Jet Landed in Hamilton, Ontario, CA.
