Clyde boss Danny Lennon heaped praise on new boy Olly McDonald after they upset Championship side Morton in Group D.The 22-year-old striker, who joined from Lowland League Gretna 2008, bagged his first goal for the club on his first start to give them a maiden win in the Premier Sports Cup yesterday.McDonald broke the deadlock for the League One outfit after 37 minutes with a thumping low drive that beat Brian Schwake at his near post. And seven minutes from time Ross Cunningham sealed the points from the penalty spot after Conor Duthie's trickery in the box lured Jack Baird into making the foul. The result helped Clyde - who also saw Jordan Allan's first half penalty saved by Schwake - bounce back from a midweek defeat to League Two Bonnyrigg Rose, and Lennon was delighted for his summer signing. He said: "It's a fantastic finish from Olly.
