Manori Ravindran International EditorVertical Entertainment has picked up North American distribution rights to the action thriller “No Way Out,” directed by Azi Rahman, who is making his feature film debut.The film turns on a Los Angeles couple embroiled in a passionate relationship fueled by sex, drugs and risk that quickly reaches a boiling point, leading to “drastic and life-altering consequences.” Vertical is planning a day-and-date release of the film on Aug. 12.“No Way Out” stars Maia Mitchell (“The Last Summer”), Joey Bicicchi (“Tin Soldier”), Guy Burnet (“Oppenheimer”), Ashley Nicole Williams (“Motherland: Fort Salem”), Katelyn Pippy (“9-1-1: Lone Star”) and Ronnie Gene Blevins (“Emancipation”).“No Way Out” is written and produced by Keith Kjarval of Unified Pictures.

Disney gave fans a first look at the much-anticipated movie "Hocus Pocus 2" on Tuesday. Fans will get to watch Bette Midler, 76, Sarah Jessica Parker, 57, and Kathy Najimy, 65, reprise their roles as the trio of witches made famous in the 1993 comedy film.  "Lock up your children," Midler's character Winifred said in the trailer. "Yes, Salem, we're back!" The witches have returned to Salem and are on the hunt for children after someone lit the Black Flame Candle once again.

The 2022 Daytime Emmy Awards are honoring the best in television talent, hosting and programming! ET’s very own Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner are hosting the 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The 2022 Daytime Emmy Awards are set to be handed out Friday in a two-hour telecast hosted by Entertainment Tonight duo Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner that will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 6 p.m. ET/PT. The ceremony takes place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, with the show in-person again after being virtual the past two years.
