Inside warped mind of Brit Poundland terrorist who boasted he wanted to kill the Queen
Terrorist Sudesh Amman's troubled life can be traced back to his school days and his warped view of the world followed him into adulthood. The 20-year-old, born in 1999, was shot dead by officers moments after he stabbed two people in a frenzy in the middle of the street in Streatham, south London, in 2020.Amman, who also was known as Sudesh Faraz, began knifing innocent members of the public less than two weeks after he was released from prison - where he boasted about plans to slay the Queen to fellow lags. The Daily Star takes a look at the attacker's life, who was born in Coventry and the oldest of six brothers of Sri Lankan descent before he was known as the Streatham Terrorist. The brutal violence began years before the terrorist attack in London that shocked millions.Amman allegedly attacked a fellow pupil with a "gun, axe and sword" in April 2016, and in February the following year, he attempted to slash a classmate with broken glass before punching him in the head.In a mental health assessment, Amman also claimed he had seen first-hand the "decapitation of human bodies" while on a trip to Sri Lanka when he was only aged 14 or 15.As a 19-year-old, he was arrested on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act after a Dutch blogger informed police of his posts in a chat group. He pleaded guilty to 13 counts of possessing documents useful to terrorists and disseminating them.He was sent to jail for 40-months, but under the rules at the time, he would be released halfway through the sentence.Amman was sent to Belmarsh Prison - home to notorious killers like Danyal Hussein and Stephen Port the 'Grindr Killer' - but instead of trying to turn his life around, he worked on radicalising other lags inside. An entry on the Mercury

Heartbreaking moment dogs chase after cruel man's van after they're dumped in street
dogs being dumped from the back of a van has triggered an RSPCA investigation.Heartbreaking CCTV shows the white van pull up into a street in Coventry, with a man then opening the back and shooing the dogs out into the street. He then returns to the van and drives away while the dogs run around in the middle of the road and some appear to try and follow the vehicle as it moves away. The dogs, which included spaniel and Yorkshire terrier types, stank of urine and poo and were covered in sores. Some of the dogs were microchipped but none were registered and so they have not been traced. The RSPCA has now released the footage which was originally recorded at 2.30 pm on December 30 last year, in Yewdale Crescent.RSPCA inspector Vicki Taylor said the dogs were in poor health and suspected to have been used by callous breeders to churn out puppies.Vicki said: "The footage is really shocking. To see the poor dogs in such obvious confusion and distress as the van pulls away is heartbreaking."Thankfully, a member of the public spotted what had happened and contacted the Police who were able to capture the dogs and bring them to our animal hospital where they are now getting the care they need."The dogs are a mix of different breeds, including spaniels and terriers."We suspect they have been used for breeding because of the condition they are in.

Graeme Souness told he 'ruined Liverpool' by player he managed at Anfield
Liverpool manager Graeme Souness has been called out by one of his ex-stars for "ruining" the club while he was in charge at Anfield. After previously succeeded at Liverpool as a player between 1978 and 1984, Souness returned to Anfield as a manager in 1991, and won an FA Cup in his first season.Souness was much more successful as a player than he was as a manager, and the Scotsman was part of a fantastic Liverpool side that won five league titles across six seasons. And in what appears to be an unprovoked attack, he has been called out by one of his former stars, who has claimed he "ruined Liverpool" as a manager.Souness replaced Kenny Dalglish three months after the legendary no.7 resigned as Liverpool manager in 1991, which came as a shock to many as he had won three league titles and two FA Cups in the previous five seasons.Fellow Scotsman David Speedie ended up being Dalglish's final signing as Liverpool manager, and many assumed that the striker would be a favourite under Souness too, but this was clearly not the case.Despite impressing for Chelsea and Coventry City, Souness sold him that summer to Blackburn Rovers after just 12 league games, even though the striker had scored six goals, including a brace in the Merseyside derby.Although the sale came more than 30 years ago, Speedie took to Twitter on Thursday to vent his frustrations, and has called out Souness for ruining Liverpool during the early 90s.Speedie wrote: "Never give up, even when those around you think you can’t reach their level."I’m often mentioned amongst the worse signings, 6 goals in 14 games, 3 man of the match awards suggest otherwise.
