Rammstein, Faith No More, Ministry and Filter, to cover The Beatles’ 1969 classic ‘Come Together’.In stark contrast to the ‘Abbey Road’ original’s chill, groove-inflected pop feel, the star-studded cover turns ‘Come Together’ into a bourbon-soaked swag-rock anthem, replete with a searing, overdriven riff, stomp-and-clap percussion and smoky vocal harmonies. To that end, it interpolates elements of Queen’s 1977 hit ‘We Will Rock You’, with the lyric changed to “we will stop you”.The project was steered by COP International founder Christian Petke, alongside legendary producer John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails).

Rammstein‘s forthcoming new album has reportedly been delayed due to a paper shortage.The German band had been expected to release their follow-up to 2019’s ‘Untitled’ later this year. Guitarist Richard Kruspe said back in November that the record should be arriving before the start of Rammstein’s world tour in May.However, an unexpected complication has now reportedly cast doubt on Rammstein’s initial release plans.As Metal Sucks reports, German composer and musical director Sven Helbig – who has contributed orchestral parts to the new album – revealed in a recent interview with Sachsische that a “lack of paper” is the problem currently facing the band.“The band itself doesn’t know at the moment,” Helbig told the publication about when the album might now be released (via RammWiki).

Rammstein‘s Richard Kruspe has confirmed that the band’s new album will be released before the start of their world tour in 2022.Speaking to 24 Hours World News, founding member and guitarist Kruspe discussed his other band Emigrate, who have just released their fourth studio album ‘The Persistence of Memory’. He was then asked if he could reveal anything about the new Rammstein record, to which he replied: “The album is expected to be released next year before the tour.”Rammstein confirmed back in February of this year that they had recorded a new album during lockdown.
