Sigur Rós have announced details of a UK and European tour for later this year – check out the full list of dates below.Following the announcement of tour dates in the United States, Mexico and Canada last month, Sigur Rós have now confirmed a lengthy run in the UK and Europe.Kicking off in Portugal on 28 September, the run of shows will take place in Italy, Germany and France before arriving in the UK for four shows, including two nights at London’s Brixton Academy. Tool share reworked version of ‘Opiate’ ahead of short film

Tool have released a reimagined version of their 1992 single ‘Opiate’.The reworked track, which is officially titled ‘Opiate²’, comes ahead of an accompanying short film that’s released on Blu-ray on March 18.‘Opiate²’ will soundtrack a 10-plus minute short film created by visual artist Dominic Hailstone and guitarist Adam Jones. The disc also features “interviews and insights from special guests” and will come with a 46-page art book with behind-the-scenes photos.The biggest difference between the original song and the reimagined version is structural, with an extended section allowing drummer Danny Carey to hit his skins for longer.

Nick Cave exhibition Stranger Than Kindness is set to receive its North American premiere in Montreal in April.The exhibition, which is offering “an unprecedented look into the creative world” of the Bad Seeds musician, was designed in collaboration with Cave and previously opened in Copenhagen, Denmark in March 2020.Stranger Than Kindness: The Nick Cave Exhibition will now take up residence at the Galerie de la Maison du Festival in Montreal, Canada on April 8, and will be on display there until August 7.“With more than 300 objects collected or created by Nick Cave through six decades of his creative and private life brought together in large-scale installations, the exhibition is an artwork in itself,” a description for Stranger Than Kindness reads.
