Supermarket worker's £20-a-day Pepsi habit ended by hypnotist after consuming 219K cans
Tesco supermarket employee has had his £20-a-day Pepsi addiction cured by a hypnotist after two decades of guzzling 30 cans a day.Andy Currie, 41, was said to have sipped roughly 219,000 cans of Pepsi over twenty years, intaking nearly 8,000kg of sugar and spent £7,000 a year on his fizzy drink fascination.Andy, from Bangor, North Wales, said he had "always loved the taste of a cold Pepsi" and that he had been drinking the carbonated drink since his early 20s.But with the help of a London-based hypnotist, Andy has kicked the sugary beverage for good after two decades of the sweet stuff.Andy said: "I've always loved the taste of a cold Pepsi. Nothing could beat it and I just got hooked.
