A young dad has died in a crash on his way home to his 20-month-old son just days before Christmas. Rowan Jones, 22, was killed in a country road crash on Friday in Bangor, Gywnedd.

His family has been left heartbroken after he died in the single-vehicle crash on the A4244 at Felin Hen just after 9.30pm on December 18.

Tributes described him as a "proud and loving dad" who "lived for his family," reports North Wales Live. The Morrisons supermarket worker and chef, from Bangor, was a father to baby Osian.

He leaves behind his partner April, mum Emma-Jane, dad Keith, sister Sasha, as well as his step-brothers Craig, Paul, Idwal and Owain and his step-parents, Kim and Andy.
