Locarno Title ‘After Blue (Dirty Paradise)’ Picked Up by Altered Innocence in North America (EXCLUSIVE)

Leo Barraclough International Features EditorAltered Innocence has picked up North American rights to Bertrand Mandico’s sophomore feature film “After Blue (Dirty Paradise),” which just had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival.

The film will make its North American premiere at Toronto Film Festival in the Midnight Madness sidebar, and the U.S. premiere will be held at Fantastic Fest.The film takes place on the planet After Blue, where teenager Roxy unwittingly frees a dangerous criminal buried in the sand.

Roxy and her mother Zora (Elina Löwensohn) are deemed responsible, exiled from their community, and sentenced to track down the killer.
