Liz Truss was announced as the country's new Prime Minister this afternoon, an undeleted tweet she made about paedophile Jimmy Savile resurfaced on social media.

Truss beat off competition from Rishi Sunak in a contest to succeed Boris Johnson as leader of the Conservative Party and become the country's premier.
