Livingston Women’s striker Ashley Fish is coming off consecutive hat-tricks - but admits she’d happily trade goals for a win in Sunday’s crucial Championship South clash at home to Rossvale.Fish bagged a treble in Sunday’s 8-1 away win at Ayr United and followed that up with another hat-trick last night in a 5-1 victory over Hutchison Vale. Those wins took the Lionesses to within four points of leaders Rossvale, but with Livi having a game in hand and hosting them at the Tony Macaroni Arena this weekend, that picture could change quickly.Speaking to the Courier, Fish said: “We’re playing with a real confidence as a team and me personally just now.
I’m delighted to have got the goals recently but I’d happily take a win and not score on Sunday.“It’s a big game, as they all are just now, and it’s going to be a really exciting end to the season because there’s still plenty of teams looking to get promoted.“The coaches will make sure we’re at it in training and don’t let our standards slip but we know as players that we can’t allow that to happen over these next few games of the season because we'll get punished."The striker originally featured as a trialist at the beginning of the campaign before signing on the dotted line and it’s a move that has clearly benefitted both parties as her six goal blast over recent days took her to 23 for the campaign. And she admits she's back to loving her football as the Lionesses gear up for a promotion charge. She said: “I’m really enjoying my football just now and loving being a part of this team.
The togetherness is brilliant and that’s part of what makes it so enjoyable.“There’s no wee different groups or anything like that, we’re one big team and all chat away to each other.
