Livingston's home Premiership match against Dundee United this evening has been called off due a frozen pitch - despite it having passed an earlier inspection. The playing surface at the Tony Macaroni Arena was ruled to have been fine at 3pm only for the match officials to rule it unplayable around 90 minutes before the scheduled 7.45pm kick-off.Freezing temperatures in recent days had put the game in doubt but it looked to have been given the go ahead this afternoon only for referee Matthew McDermid to call it off following a later inspection.
