Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp faces a rather precarious transfer window. The Reds opened a huge gap on the chasing pack in the Premier League last season as they totted up 99 points.
That phenomenal points total added to 96 from the 2018/19 campaign to give Klopp very few areas to improve upon in the transfer market.
To some extent, that proves a rare opportunity for the Reds to take stock and go again next season with a similar side. Financial restrictions dictate that it is very hard, if not impossible, to improve on the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
Nevertheless, Klopp will be eager to keep his side fresh ahead of a busy 2020/21 schedule, and added depth should be a target in one or two areas.
