Sadio Mane may have scored a wonder goal in Senegal's 2-0 win over Cape Verde in the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday, but Liverpool fans held their breath as the forward was forced off through injury. The Liverpool star suffered a clash of heads with Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha as he battled for a high ball on the edge of the area, who was sent off after the pair received treatment.Even with clear discomfort, Mane managed to produce a moment of magic and help Senegal on there way to the quarter=finals, but he was forced off just moments after putting his side ahead. With a suspected concussion, Mane travelled straight to a nearby hospital to be checked out, and the player has now posted an update.Mane calmed the many worried fans of both Senegal and Liverpool, and also cracked a joke alongside the Cape Verde goalkeeper who he had collided with.Pictured with Vozinha who was also at the hospital, Mane added the caption to his Instagram: "Senegal vs Cape Verde in the pitch, in the hospital."Everything is fine, thank you all for the messages."The incident happened after 70 minutes as Mane was charging through on goal, before being taken out by Vozinha, who received Cape Verde's second red card of the game."Sadio had a big shock with the goalkeeper and I haven't heard from him yet, he was dizzy and he is currently in the hospital," Senegal head coach Cisse said after the final whistle, as reported by journalist Adama Ndione."We will have news later.

I hope he is doing very well."It appears that Mane is just fine, and hopefully he will receive that all clear to face either Mali or Equatorial Guinea in the next round..
