Linda Tripp has died. The civil servant who infamously secretly taped conversations with Monica Lewinsky regarding her relationship with President Bill Clinton, passed away at 70, the Washington Post confirmed on Wednesday (April 8). Linda became a White House employee during the George H.W.
Bush administration, eventually working at the Pentagon and befriending Monica and taping their conversations about her relations with Clinton.
Those conversations would lead to the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998. Prior to learning of her death, Monica expressed her thoughts: “no matter the past, upon hearing that linda tripp is very seriously ill, i hope for her recovery.
