The single rises through a 7% bump in plays at the format in the week ending June 14, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.“I feel blessed to have my first No.
1,” the 18-year-old rapper tells Billboard via email. “This is just the beginning. More Certified Hits on the way. Love to all my supporters.”In addition to its Rhythmic stronghold, “Faygo” has made inroads on the adjacent R&B/hip-hop and pop formats.
For the former, the single reaches a new peak of No. 16 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart, which ranks songs by plays on monitored stations, thanks to a 3% boost in plays in the week.
