Lewis Hamilton has now equalled Michael Schumacher's record of F1 wins, scoring his 91st career victory in the Eifel Grand Prix.
While his team-mate Valtteri Bottas ended up back in the Mercedes garage following a mechanical failure, it was plain-sailing for Hamilton.The Brit started second on the grid but only took 13 laps to leapfrog his co-star, who locked up and left the gap wide open.Soon after, Bottas retired and Hamilton had to fend off Max Verstappen on his way to victory.The championship leader had an 11-second lead with 14 laps to go, before the safety car came out.But Verstappen couldn't close the gap, finishing ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in second.Hamilton was quizzed about the record before this weekend's action but was not.
