Balogun was set to join up with the Super Eagles for a crack at the Cameroon tournament in January and early February.But the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have revealed he hasn't recovered from injury in time and will stay in Glasgow instead.Joe Aribo remains in the 28-man squad while Calvin Bassey was not named in the final list despite being in a provisional squad.
The NFF have called up players to replace drop-outs, which also include Watford's Emmanuel Dennis and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
