Rangers legend Kris Boyd has named his Scottish Premiership team of the year - featuring three Ibrox stars and Celtic players apiece.
The league is bursting with quality up and down the division with the top six especially as strong as it has been in some years.Hearts sit third as we enter 2022 and that's reflected in Boyd's defence and in goals with Scotland stars Craig Gordon and John Souttar picked in his XI for a rock solid defensive effort.
Souttar is joined by Celtic newcomer Cameron Carter-Vickers and Dundee United's veteran centre-back Charlie Mulgrew. In a 3-4-3 formation, Boyd names three Rangers men across the middle four with captain James Tavernier at right wing-back, joined by midfielders Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo.
