Manchester United and Liverpool are the clubs behind a plan to reshape English football beyond belief, the Telegraph have revealed.
The two clubs have worked on 'Project Big Picture' together - a scheme which will radically reshape football in this country.Under the proposals, the League Cup and Community Shield would be scrapped.Other discussions have taken place regarding the League Cup staying put - but no English clubs in Europe taking part.As well as these proposals, the Premier League would be made an 18-team division.But there will be those opposed to the plans, given that the nine longest-serving top flight sides will have total control of the running of the league.Other parts of the plan would see £100m gifted to the FA to cover.
