The borough with the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester -Salford- has seen a weekly drop in cases of nearly 10 percent the latest figures show.
It was one of five areas - along with Manchester, Oldham, Bury, and Rochdale - to see its total cases go down compared to last week.
However the number of cases has risen in the region's other five boroughs - Trafford, Stockport, Tameside, Wigan and Bolton.
