Tameside continues to have the highest infection rate in the region, with 400.2 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending August 23, although Greater Manchester's rate as a whole continues to remain below the national average.
Four boroughs saw falls in the number of week-on-week coronavirus cases recorded while one area, Bolton, remained level.
