The Red Devils have signed the 36-year-old from Juventus, 12 years after he left for Real Madrid on the way to 30 major titles and five Ballon d’Ors.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who played with CR7 in his first stint, is bringing in a player who has averaged 40 goals a season for the last 16 years.And it saw him beat one of the rising European talents in Haaland, who is averaging just over a goal a game over the last three seasons for RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund.
The Norwegian is courting a lot of attention this summer, with clubs expected to pounce next year as his £64m release clause becomes active.
