Ronaldo signed a two-year contract with the option of a third season after United agreed to pay €15m plus €8m in add-ons to bring the 36-year-old to the club for a second spell 12 years after his initial exit.
The Portugal forward spent six years at the club between 2003 and 2009, scoring 118 goals in 292 appearances before leaving for Real Madrid.
