Los Angeles police made several arrests overnight when celebrations for the Dodgers' World Series victory turned into an unlawful assembly, which involved looting.
Around 1 a.m. police closed downtown in the area of 8th Street to West Pico Boulevard and Broadway to South Figueroa Street due to the unruly activity.
At least eight people were arrested, according to CBS Los Angeles. Video taken from the area showed several businesses with windows shattered and entrances sprayed with graffiti.
At least one store was reportedly looted. In addition, people were seen jumping on top of cars, blocking intersections and doing donuts.
