A half-century of marriage is certainly something to celebrate and couples from across Lanarkshire enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment to mark their golden wedding anniversaries.The provosts of North and South Lanarkshire Councils jointly hosted a golden wedding reception at Motherwell Concert Hall on Tuesday, welcoming 46 couples to dance the afternoon away and remember their big day from 1971.The annual celebration was held for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
