thesun.co.ukKYM Marsh has joined Waterloo Road as the full cast is revealed - with a string of familiar soap faces. In September last year the BBC revealed that the hit school-based drama was being revived after a six-year absence from our screens.
Now, former Coronation Street actress Kym has been confirmed in the role of Nicky Walters, a mother to two pupils and school canteen worker.
Other new cast members include EastEnders' Jo Coffey as Wendy Whitwell, PA to Headteacher Kim Campbell, while Vincent Jerome will play Lindon King, joint Deputy Head with Still Open All Hours' James Baxter as Joe Casey - also Deputy Head.
Another soap face to join the cast is Coronation Street's Sonia Ibrahim who will play Jamilah Omar, the school’s social worker.
